Vraiment pas excellent, bug beaucoup.
Vraiment pas excellent, bug beaucoup.
Colloquy is the first app I buy, and Im not disappointed by it ! This is the best application for IRC, and I tries many of them. Ive to be constantly on IRC, because Im operator of 2 big channels ( 200 and 700+ guys. ). But, like I said, it can be way better. For instance, putting an option that, when its on, put an ~,&,@,%,+ in front if the pseudo, directly in the chat. There is many things able to get better. 4/5 FTM, 5/5 in the future, when the appll inprove ;)
Plus you cant keep connection in the backround, after a few seconds u need to go back to app to keep it running.
its bugged
After 3 hours to test few configurations, push notification doesnt works with ZNC . Im not alone in this case of you trust Google.
Easy to run, pleasing to use, full of resources to satisfy everyone! When using a compatible push bouncer (like ZNC), you feel like you are 24/7 on IRC! Past the 10 minutes background iOS limit, znc does get you notified about messages directed to you (someone saying your nick or PVTs) like as when you receive a SMS! And when opening Colloquy again the bouncer plays back the history of all channels you are in! Inside ZNC you can even setup the hours not to receive push notifications about your nick/pvt (i.e. for when you are sleeping). Command and nick completion works great! Maybe at some point we could have IRCop commands completion and script support (thus I know that scripting mIRC alike would be asking too much!) =D Icons have good taste, the interface is clean and easy to use, its a wonderful piece of art!
This is the only app I ever wanted to buy in the AppStore. Totally worth it, and you get the Ipad version for free
Das App ist soweit gut, nur sollte es auf IOS 5 optimiert werden. The app is well done, but there should be an adjustment to IOS 5
Updates on this client are very rare. So I expected it I guess for half a year at least. But the update made everything worse. Channel lists are not shown any longer on the right side of the screen due to resolution issues. Program often unexpectedly quits the text line is mostly hidden behind the keyboard. So please look for another app. And developers: Make this app better rather sooner than later I wish I could go back to previous version!!!! chris
Everythings ok so far, connect via bouncer is useable with the known restrictions of IRC. Two things though werent working at all: • push notifications (colloquy.mobi:7906 is down) • couldnt find any contact address on the website
I like. Missed the swipe from edges thing to navigate around. And the icon is nice, too.
superfast support super app!
Touch does not work.
... and now the only thing it can do crash >_< a waste of money!!!
Unfortunately the use case to have the iPad connected via VPN to a private network and using SSL to connect to an irc server on that private network does not work. The error message returned indicates the configured irc server cannot be reached, while it is accessible by other apps that do work with VPN.
Works perfectly. Worth the money.
Just like the desktop version on mac os colloquy has a clean attractive interface as well as a growing list of features. Well worth its low price.
I thought the original version was kind of an uninspiring port, but the dev(s) released a really nice update with new features and whatnot, so I felt compelled to toss in a review.
This app is very nice and work very well. But since the iPhone doesnt let you multi-task so if someone post a link and you want to view it, you get disconnected from the server which is awful.
LimeChat connectes fine for me but Colloquy doesnt even after I tried using all the same settings. There is no debugging info other than a message saying cant connect so I have no idea why it is failing. Looked in the help and FAQs but no mention of how to proceed.
